Later in the evening we headed down by the pond with the intend to walk, but they were still renting

boats and canoes.  So Duane took the three youngest and headed out on the paddle boat

and soon they realized they weighed too much to much with the boat, DSCF1454 DSCF1453

so the kid at the boats jumped into the canoe and took took casey and carson out DSCF1455 DSCF1456 DSCF1458

and Duane and Bryan were able to paddle back were they all got into the canoe and were able to enjoy a nice canoe trip around the

pond.  After that we continued our walk and came across a kid who caught a crawdad, yuck, they are ugly

and we also caught a small garter snake.  To end the great day we got shakes at mcdonalds.

a trip to Bear Lake…

DSCF1382 On the way there we had to stop for road construction a mile from our exit for 10 mins.  Alexis got bored and took some pictures.

DSCF1349 Watching Carson playing soccer.  A lot of fun.  Going to the mud races..a first for all of us.  We cheered Chad on.  (One of Duane’s customer)  It was great fun and as before we want to go again next year, but we will bring ear plugs this time.

things we did this summer

DSCF1442 DSCF1433 We went to the rodeo and the kids enjoyed it greatly.  The advantage of living in a small town is that you are sure to know someone participating in things. One of my friends from work was in the bare back competition.  It makes it fun to cheer them on.  We can’t wait until next year to buy season passes.  The kids want to participate in the chicken run.  What  crazy idea…

wyoming update

so since moving to wyoming we are taking advantage of many different things. First we went to Bear Lake and enjoyed the water, next we went to the mud races, that was a lot of fun, last night we went to to the rodeo and enjoyed it the kids thought it wasn't long enough It is great when you know people who are competing. The summer is almost over. Were has it gone? We are loving the small town and try to participate in as many local things as we can.
