beautiful after a rain storm

Taking each rain storm as a great blessing, it is even more beautiful after the storm.  Took some pictures off the balcony of Albuquerque.

Having fun in Albuquerque

Took the kids to Cliff’s amusement park.  It was a fun day.  Having only been to large parks it was a nice change.  It took us a whole 5 minutes in line to get tickets,  there was enough rides to keep the kids happy, and small enough to not get lost.  The weather was great.  About dinner time a huge rainstorm hit so we left for dinner and came back and rode some more rides.  We went with some friends and met some other friends there later by chance.  The kids had friends to hang out with.  Duane joined us later on after work.

Next we had a Farewell party.  We had an amazing turnout but I forgot to take pictures.  Some of Alexis’ friends left a reminder at the house.

Right before we left Bryan had 2 muscle biopsies on his legs .  The results came back normal, but he is still having issues.

The day before we left we decided to go to Fort Bridger, the kids needed out of the empty house.

One of our next adventure was to the Petroglyphs Park.  Most of the parks were closed because of fire danger but we found one open.  We were not quite prepared so we will go back in a few weeks when it is cooler and earlier in the morning.

Duane went with Bryan on a campout and the were able to go to where they filmed Contact and they were able to see the satellites working.  They thought they were way cool.

It is so hard to always take the camera, but I do try.
