so today while watching the kids play I was watching my two boys. One who is very tall, a spitting image of his father, a gamer, easy going and gentle, and a mama’s boy. And then my other one who is very dark complexion, very competitive, also shy, a quick temper, yet lovable, and a daddy’s boy. Yet they both come from the same parents and yet so different but they love each other and make their personalities work. I took some pictures to portrait my thoughts. To my two sweet boys who will forever be brothers together.

Piedmont experience
So today Daniel and Suzy came from Ogden to spend the night so I thought it would be fun to go somewhere new or in this case old. We stopped and got some water and treats and headed out of town. The clouds were building up and the thunder and lightning was getting stronger in the direction we wanted to go. After taking the wrong exit, then missing the right exit we turned around and found the dirt road to our destination. The kids were a little concerned about the rain coming and especially the lightning. Our first encounter was with a badger, the kids thought he was way cool, but a little ugly. After a 10 min ride on the dirt road with me thinking “if I get a flat tire, who would come out and help us???” Finally arriving at the kilns, the kids thought it was cool. They found some different animals, bats, dead bats, almost dead bats, a little bird. The kilns were interesting then we headed up to the town, or the remnants of the town, there more animals, a bunny rabbit and a big dead bird. The rain came in bits, but we had fun and enjoyed the adventure and yes, we did make it home safely.
